Hey,
I use to use the F6 key while in an IM window to read the message then hit
shift f6 to return to the edit field where I could type my message. This
key command doesn't work in jaws 7.1 any ideas?

some of you may notice this and some of you might not, so here is a little note for yahoo messenger and jaws 7.10 users.
in jaws 7.0, we can use "alt+shift+f10" to read last YIM alert but this features has been disable in jaws 7.10. FS clame that this
keystroke is clash with another keystroke in MS-Office. actually this keystroke can be reactive with the following steps.
1. go to "start/programs/jaws 7.10/explore jaws/explore my settings" or "start/programs/jaws 7.10/explore jaws/explore share
settings" and look for "default.jkm" file.
2. open this file with "notepad".
3. press "ctrl+f" for jaws find and find for "YIM" (without the quote sign) and press enter. you will then get a line like this
; Alt+Shift+F10=RepeatLastYIMAlert
remove the semicolon ";" at the beginning of the line and press "ctrl+s" to save it.
now you can use "alt+shift+f10" to read last YIM alert.
