Troy,

I didn't exactly replicate your situation, since I did the tests with JAWS 9, but using Firefox, I learn that both websites transmit data and ads from several other sources before allowing a page to load. The first website also brought up a popup when I pressed a random link, which Firefox rejected.

A new user of Firefox, I'm finding the status line (insert-numpad3) shows reasons for delays and explains why JAWS may seem to be interacting badly with a website. I've rarely encountered so many data sources being loaded as in these two instances.

Forgive me, but I have to say it. Go Mets.

Hello All, I can't say that this happens all the time or on all web pages, but especially on http://www.1stheadlines.com/baseball.htm, if I try to click a link to try to get to any of the articles quite often the link won't activate and I get kicked back up to the top of the page then I find the same link again and it works that time. And also on http://www.chron.com/sports/ I have no trouble clicking on a link the first time but after I click on that first link and read the page that I get taken too, if I back out of that page and then try to click another link from the page I was originally on nothing happens and I end up having to get out of the site and go back in then the links work again. This is just one example of pages where each of these things happens but there are others as well.

Has anybody experienced anything similar to either one of these things using Jaws 8?

Thanks.

Troy
