I will be more than happy to share any tips and tricks I tend to learn.
The first tip I learned is that wit the text selected you can press
control and space bar to remove all formatting to the selected text. For
example, if you have a word that you have underlined, bolded and
italicized and you no longer want any of those formatting attributes to
apply. You can simply select the text and press control space bar and the
formatting attributes will be removed.

Thanks for that information. The format painter is located in the
formatting toolbar so I figured it was not accessible with JAWS, but I
am glad there is a keyboard alternative for this feature. thanks again.

To copy the formatting of text in MS Word, CTRL+SHIFT+C is used. When
you want to paste that formatting to another chunk of selected text
press CTRL+SHIFT+V. That is the keyboard method for dealing with the
format painter buttons on the toolbar in MS Word.

I am enrolled in a Word class this semester and one of the tasks
