I've had the same problem. Only way I havee found to fix is by alt-tabbing away from and back to the application. Sometimes changing normal to print view and back doesn't even work. I don't know why, but having an excessive number of toolbars turned on causes jaws problems, so check which ones you have turned on (under the view | toolbars menu) and turn off any that you aren't using at the moment.
