Hi allen JAWS really doesn't, and never has to my knowledge, really had any real problems with SP2. If you're going to upgrade, I would strongly suggest doing a backup of all your files and then, set a restore point so that in case something goes wrong you can go back to it. Windows does automatically set it's own restore points every so often, but you can never be too careful in these cases. So JAWS really doesn't factor a lot here. Also if you have any antivirus/firewall software running in the background, you might like to disable it, just long enough so that you can get your system running again. The windows firewall and security center are turned on by default, and having them on really doesn't cause any problems. You'll just need to tell windows that you're running your own stuff and not to worry. Hope that helps.
