Ron, As Chris pointed out, there is no actual difference in the JAWS software itself. The Pro license just authorizes JAWS to run on more versions of Windows than does the Standard license. And FS charges more for the Pro license because they can, and people who want to use JAWS with versions of Windows that offer additional features are willing to pay more. So, you can get mad, bitch on the list about their business practices or curse FS out on the phone, but if you want to use JAWS with your Windows XP Pro system without rebooting every 40 minutes, you will have to pay. Just to clarify the point, I have found a website that gives the differences between the two. Would be interested to find where the differences between Jaws Pro and Standard are listed? www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_home_pro.asp Ron www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_home_pro.asp
