Ron,
As Chris pointed out, there is no actual difference in the JAWS software 
itself.  The Pro license just authorizes JAWS to run on more versions of 
Windows than does the Standard license.  And FS charges more for the Pro 
license because they can, and people who want to use JAWS with versions of 
Windows that offer additional features are willing to pay more.  So, you can 
get mad, bitch on the list about their business practices or curse FS out on 
the phone, but if you want to use JAWS with your Windows XP Pro system without 
rebooting every 40 minutes, you will have to pay.
