Chris,

I don't think it makes any difference in the three settings. It's just a
personal preference on how you what to get your up-dates. I have mine set
to download and notify me when they are ready to install. I just like to
know when and what kind of up-date is being installed.

Steven

Hi all,
At this moment I have my windows updates set to automatically download and
install. I want to change this setting to either: download updates for me,
but do not install them, or, notify me when there are updates but do not
download or install them. Are there any pros and cons to doing one of these
settings over the other?
Thanks for the help,
Chris Chaffin
