I have Windows do the automatic updates because I can not always
remember to do it myself. The probability of this messing up JAWS is
less than the probability I will have a problem by missing some critical
update.
I have not had a problem as yet by allowing XP to do its thing. CYS...

Windows is an option. Microsoft suggests to do Windows Update frequently
