I'm also running 32 bit, and not having the same problem you are having. This is not to dismiss your problem. I've seen various computers running the same software behave quite differently.

Ok I've done a test. I opened Windows Explorer with Windows+E. The title does indeed say items view, but pressing insert+tab told me it was a list box and it also told me what drive was focused, but not necessarily selected. This is with the latest JAWS 11 as of last Thursday (11.0.1430). I'm running 32 bit so am not sure if that makes a difference. But I hope this helps.

I'm glad it isn't just me Alex.

Chris, Insert + tab, appears just to read the current list item.

What I'm after, is the title of the folder I'm looking at.

Insert +T used to display this.

Try insert+tab.

When browsing the contents of a folder using the latest JAWS update,
Insert

Has anyone else experienced this?

Should I be attempting to determine the folder I am looking at using a
keystroke other than Insert +t?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
