Hi Edward,

there's a guide to the taskbar (start menu, taskbar buttons, and notification
area):

and a guide to windows explorer:

It has been a long time since I've even thought about learning a new operating
system.  None of the corporate IS departments with which I've worked dared to
touch Vista.  So, I'm still on Windows XP, though I understand that will be
changing in a couple of weeks.
Would someone kindly recommend a useful tutorial on JAWS settings in Windows 7
and possibly also on using Windows 7.
I've seen, on iBlink Radio, a couple of references to podcasts, but I'm loathed
to waste an hour on something that is not practical and useful.
The very early JAWS getting started tapes used to cover the operating system,
and the new "basic" manual may do so, but I'm thinking a "JAWS Basic" training
isn't what I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance.

I. Edward Marquette
