Basically the agent is winamp running in the back ground with agent
running your media file will play faster. Apart from that it really
does not do much for you.

Jim, I do not use winamp agent, as I have been advised as a blind user
to disable it. However, as we are on the subject of agents, could you
tell me please what the Winamp agent is all about--just briefly. I have
asked previously but have never received an answer to this question.
