Let's try it this way. You know stationery? Sometimes, when that has been is
enabled, it decorates the sender's message; and although neither JAWS nor we
can see it in the messages delivered to us as plain text, as html messages
there are images in them of things like 'nature' or 'sunflower', or even, 'no
stationery'. We get just those words instead of the images, in our plain text
versions of the messages. Do you get what I'm getting at now?

I'm sorry, Flor, but that isn't possible. formatting doesn't write words on
your messages. Neither does an operating system. Jaws is simply reading
something that someone's email client it producing when they post a reply.
Honest. It's nothing more than that.

'Formatting' includes html elements. I'm using Outlook Express and I get it
at the top of some - but not all - of my replies to list messages. I've
seen it over the past few years, but only since the mass adoption of Windows
XP. I don't think it's a JAWS problem, as I've seen it on other lists (I
can think of one other on freelists). It may be Outlook related - I have
Microsoft Outlook as well.

I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with operating systems, nor with
HTML. It's a word that's been added by something. Not by Windows, not by
Jaws, and not as some byproduct of Rich Text It's a real word that's
actually there, and some program is adding it to replies. Probably one or
another email client.

Could be something to do with html properties, or that it's Windows Xp; as
