Some web pages use an HTML(?) tag to specify the language in which their
text is written. (This, I think, is so that search engines can sort them
according to the language criterion.) When JAWS detects this tag, and the
relevant language driver is installed, the eloquence engine will use the
appropriate accent and pronunciation rules. If a page is coded with multiple
languages, or doesn't specify a language until part way down the page,
you'll hear eloquence switch languages/accents in the middle of a page.

Hi All, I have a friend in Europe.
When reading her messages, they sometimes switch automatically on the fly to
an accented English.
What triggers this if you know.
Thanks, Mitch
