When type was set by hand, the M dash was the width of the letter M as
ihn Mary. There is the N dash, as in November, and the hyphen, all used
in different ways. Somebody smart put it together here

Be sure to work past the stuff at the top of the page.

Subject: What Character

Hi
I have been encountering a character that looks like a dash in braille,
but
JAWS says something like m dash. Can anybody tell me what the character
is
that sounds like that?

Thanks

Kim
