Jaws checks again for the authorization file. YOu'll hear jaws say something
like, serial number XXX is now active.

What happens when you re-initialize the authorization file?

Is that strike 1?

Could be a timing issue jaws actually finding the auth file.

Next time this happens, instead of restarting try this,

Wait about 30 seconds, and then go to utilities and Re-initialize
authorization. Bet it comes up with your proper serial number.

Well, mysteries will never cease.

For whatever reason occasionally when I fire up the laptop (W7, 64 bit) JAWS
comes up in demo mode.

I rebooted the HP and, WALLA, JAWS came up without a hitch.

Any thoughts?

I have changed nothing since I loaded JAWS 11.0.07.
