Do you know that it's full of bugs?
No, but this is Microsoft we are talking about, I do know people "sighted people who have played with it." Going by that and Microsoft's history when it comes to releasing an OS. Even with beta teams your not going to catch everything and still your at the discretion of what will be fixed. look at some of the things in Jaws that go from version to version. Surely there was a beta team with Jaws 8 and did it come out flawlessly?

Do you know that the security
changes in Vista aren't what the public has been demanding? It depends on what security features your speaking of: I know the movie industry has been demanding a lot of security grin. Go listen to www.grc.com they talk all about that.
Do you know
that the visual changes being made aren't what your average computer
user wants?
I do not! I suspect the average computer user doesn't have much of a clue what he or she wants either. Average computer user is a pretty broad term!

Sounds to me like you're making an awful lot of groundless
assumptions, unless you're in the loop more than the rest of us, in
which case I'd like to hear more.
Anything is possible. right? grin. We shall see soon enough!

Ya, same feeling here. Why do they have to go and mess up a good thing!
xpsp2 has to be the most stable! Now they go and release something full
of
bugs to fix with a few large service packs. I guess it's money witch
isn't
a bad thing. oh well. I'll stick to xp as long as possible.
