Well, I for one hope they iron it out. My job stil has us all using IE 6 because it's what their web-based software runs on. I don't understand it very well but, for some reason, it throws everything out of whack anytime someone upgrades to IE 7. Such an event is usually accompanied with cries and lamentations on the part of the person who upgraded and huffing and harrumphing on the part of the I.T. people as they downgrade them back to IE 6. If jaws 11 will snag on virtual find with it in the final release, I'm stuck with 10.

Yes, Bruce, as I mentioned to Ray, I am currently using Internet Explorer 6, but I plan to upgrade soon. If that solves the problem, I won't bother reporting it since IE6 is out of date.

Gary, are you using IE 6, perchance?

Has anyone else had a problem with Virtual Find with the Beta when using Internet Explorer? This seems to happen mostly on large web pages. I press Control+f, and JFW speaks virtual find. I key in what I want to find and press Enter. Most of the time JFW then goes silent, but occasionally it speaks some text from somewhere on the page. When I press plus on the keypad to check which cursor mode I'm in, JFW speaks PC Cursor instead of Virtual Cursor. Toggling the cursor mode with JAWS Key+z doesn't help. I can only get the Virtual Cursor back by clicking somewhere on the page in text that is not a link. I haven't yet made this happen when using Firefox.
