Video Card and Jaws

Hi,
Recently a faulty AGP video card was replaced by a older slower PCI card. I haven't installed the correct drivers for the PCI card and am wondering just how this will affect jaws . My monitor is rarely turned on for sighted people to view. Just how important is the video card to the overall performance of jaws? Should I search out and install the proper drivers or is this a waste of time for the few times a month the monitor is turned on. Any help or knowledge is appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
