Hello. You need Jaws for Windows professional with the remote desktop package installed on the client machine. You have to be authorized for Jaws for Windows professional before you can be authorized for remote desktop. I hope this helps. The authorization must come from the client. I'm still having problems, I think because my company authorized Jaws for remote access on the server, rather than on my client computer at home. I believe the remote desktop help topic clearly states that it is the client computer that must be authorized for remote desktop access. The server computer, that is, my computer at work, will look for remote access authorization on the client's computer. Is this what you understand, or did your company or organization do as mine did and authorize remote access on the server? Now my VPN works flawlessly, with speech, Braille and at normal speaking rate. The trick: When I left work today, before I logged off I shut down JAWS. I then logged off. When I connected from home, JAWS was able to launch and begin with Remote Speech and Remote Braille, and everything worked as expected. I've still got more experimenting to do, but this tip cured all of my troubles. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Steve.
