Chris:  First of all it makes a difference as to which version of Jaws you 
are using.  If you are using Jaws6 here is where to place your scripts and 
you will need to replace the work user with you user name in the computer. 
c:\Documents And Settings\user\Application Data\Freedom
 Scientific\jaws\6.0\settings\enu I hope this will help.  Your answer as to 
whether you can remove the scripts or not, your answer is yes.  A script is 
just like a small program.  The scripts that I'm referencing are in the web 
site of www.jfwlite.com
