I took a quick look. I am using jaws 11 and one thing I have found with this
version of jaws is that I constantly have to use jawskey+escape to refresh the
screen. When I use this command I am then able to find the edit fields and
buttons that sort of thing.
The one site does tell you that the chat is loading
http://www.phpfreechat.net/demobut I have seen that on other sites and it is
always there and I tend to ignore.

Thanks for your response. I'd tend to agree with that assessment, except that
this is occurring on two different websites. here:

also, although PHP Free Chat is open source, it hasn't been updated in a very
long time... years. Somehow, I managed to get in before, but I have no idea
how I did so. And I know the software hasn't been updated since then. Also,
upon virtualizing the window, it shows me all the info, so it has to have
loaded correctly, I'd think?
