Dave, don't mean to criticize, but my learning curve from XP to windows 7 was almost non existing. At least compared to the one that I had with office 2007 (in fact, if it weren't for jaws 12 I wouldn't learned word). The only medium problem I had was the control panel. But by accident or by a God send gift, I accidently hit the "medium icons" button on the control panel view tab. And imagine my surprise when the control panel acquired--at least as seen by jaws--an almost identical copy of the very loved classic view on the control panel. But other than that, just a twick here and there. Seriously, if you are migrating from vista I believe the learning curve becomes more like a strait. lol. But be ware, the learning curve for office 2007/2010 is a spiral! Many of them (not all) will work just fine if you press them in the same sequence as before. You will find that you will not have any feedback during the sequence like in Office 2003 -- no menu announcements, etc. You will have to go on blind faith, so to speak. Other than that, you'll probably find the virtual ribbon introduced in JAWS 12 will help you with any other Alt key combinations you either never memorized or like me, just plain forgot. And then you'll be learning the new Windows 7 interface, unless you install the "classic shell" available as a download out there, somewhere. All in all you'll be in a learning mode, so prepare for a period of relative inefficiency. Have fun! Will I have these commands available in my new environment? Also, If I upgrade, where can I purchase this new software? Thanks, Alan Yadiel J. Sotomayor E-MAIL: yadosotomayor@xxxxxxxxxxx
