Well, yes and no. Ok, lets say you have version 4.5 on your computer and you have the upcoming version 6, which will have the Internet based authorization with it. If you remove the authorization key required to use 4.51, that version will go into demo mode and run for 40 minutes. Same goes for version 5.0 and 5.1, if in fact you're a current JAWS user which you are. Brand new customers who have never used JAWS in their lives will be able to use the internet authorization, but existing JAWS users will start using the new scheme when 6 comes out, and in case anyone wonders, I don't know anymore than you do as far as a release date. It'll get here when it gets here. heheheh. So if you're going to leave earlier versions of JAWS on your machine, hold on to those authorization discs. Later versions won't need them though.
