I remember once when I really messed up, I deleted the settings\enu
directory, and ran a repair. I was right at defaults.

off the top of my head, how about reinstalling your config files? Not
sure
how that would be done though.

Hello all, I use JFWs 5.0 on a win. 98 se machine and I've always had my
typing echo set to characters and words. For some strange reason I can
only set it to words. I've checked insert 2 and it makes no difference.
as to how it's set I've also gone into the configuration manager and
made sure all was ok there. Might someone have any ideas as to how I can
get this thing back to say both characters and words. Thanks, Glenn
