Hi Gene,
Why would the on-board soundcard not be active?
Unless you disable it, it should still work no matter how many other
soundcards you have installed,
provided you have the IRQ's to support them.

Interesting development... I have a Sony desktop with a Creative Audigy SP2
sound card. The interesting thing is that the original on board sound card
is still completely active. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen. Has
anyone else found this?
