Might be possible if you use SAPI 5 voices via the Control Panel > Audio
settings for Speech, but not with Elloquence on JAWS 8 -- have to set the
volume using the Windows volume control, so everything is affected. If JAWS
9 has no easy way to do it it's probably the same as 8 so you are stuck
there.
Newer JAWS versions can support multiple sound cards, so that might be an
option.
Sorry, don't have 9 just 8.
