Debbie and list,
That may be it, it doesn't seem to like spaces or slashes. I am not yet
certain I have all the bugs out but removing spaces and/or slashes seems to
permit access to those buttons. Ultimately I intend to use a macro to do
what I need but if it doesn't work from the keyboard it ain't going to work
from VBA.

Thanks.

Dale, I can tab to the add button, so I'm not sure why you can't. I
wonder
if you have spaces in the name you are trying to give the bookmark. Try
something simple like Book1 just as a test and see if you can tsb to the
  buttons.

Thank you Debbie for the excellent instructions for using bookmarks in
Word.
I am using Word2000, Jaws 5.087 on this ThinkPad. When I enter a bookmark
and tab to the buttons I only get either the close or the cancel buttons.
Which one seems to be a random thing. I can, with the Jaws cursor locate
the
other buttons but the Jaws "Left Click" won't activate them, I cannot
route
the PC cursor to the jaws cursor to hit enter on the Add button (or the
Delete button) either. Obviously as I cannot add a bookmark the Go to
Bookmark doesn't work either but worse, having selected go to bookmark the
CTRL-TAB which usually permits moving from tab page to tab page isn't
  working in that dialog.
Am I having a seniors moment or is this a Jaws bug or what? Some things on
this computer are a little funny for reasons I can't figure but this is
the
  most strange recently.

  Any advice welcome.

  Thanks.
