Alan and all list members:
It would be nice if list members, when mentioning great deals on drives they
purchase, would also tell us whether the drive is either internal or
external.
For example, In early June this year, I purchased an external USB Western
digital 2 TB drive from Staples, which was on sale for $149.99, down from
$199.99, obviously, plus New York sales tax.
Another example, in October, I purchased two internal SATA 2 TB drives for
$99.00 per drive, plus a PCI disk controller card from Tiger Direct, for an
additional $35.00. And, because I purchased them from Tiger Direct on-line,
I paid no Sales tax, just shipping and handling.
