Try compacing your folders.
In OE, go to the file menu, press F for folder, enter on compact all
folders.
This may take a few minutes, be patient.

    Hi again.  I have tried so many different things to fix my OE problem,
but nothing seems to work.  I've tried running my scan disk under norton
system works, and that didn't fix the problem.  I can't delete messages
using the delete key.  I have to use shift and delete and that deletes the
message completely rather than sending it to the deleted items folder.
That's not all bad, but I can't just scrol through my messages and delete
the ones I want.  I have to do it one at a time.  Not sure why this is
happening?  I've even checked my settings on the desk top computer with my
lap top, and all are the same, so that couldn't be it.  I'm just looking for
a suggestion to fix this annoying problem that started two weeks ago.
