Thing is, about the jfw hot key, sometimes they sneak it in another place,
under the program files freedom scientific jaws 9.0, the "jaws" selection,
might have a hot key set there so one of them will work, or not work. :) I
have had to do that in some circumstances where I saw a client's computer
just not accept, no matter what I did otherwise, unless I put the hot key
under that shortcut.

I haven't had this problem myself but what I did do was after I installed
jaws 9, I went into the jaws 8 properties and deleted the jaws 8 shortcut
key then went into the jaws 9 properties and set my hot key there and it
works like jaws 8 did.
