Yes it can be deleted. Normally the way you would change the label is to tab back to the control and press insert control tab again and change or delete the prompt. Clearing the prompt sets it back to the original. But if the interface had changed so you couldn't tab back to the button, you can press insert and 9 on the number row for the frames list, then delete the frame. Remember prompts created using the prompt creator are really just frames.
