John and others, where else can I delete Temporary Folders. Please be specific how to get to those locations using XP Home. Also, I need to locate Scan Disc, Disc Clean Up and Disc defrag in Home XP. I am sure the rest of the list is not interested in this basic fundamental information, so please give specific directions off list and in which order they should each be executed. Thanks very, very much! ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Miller" <n1umj@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 26, 2004 5:08 PM Subject: Re: Deleting Cookies > In the cookies folder yes but if you do delete everything you'll lose saved > passwords on web sites, like if you're a user of www.amazon.com and are set > to be logged in automatically, it will not do that next time you log in if > you empty all your cookies out, that's true on some sites, others you have > to delete your temporary internet files and then you'll be logged out but > it's good do get rid of all cookies every so often.
