Hello Again, I tried the system restore like the file from the JFW lite site said and it did not work. I tried to restore to two separate dates and during the reboot process, I got an error saying the system could not be restored to either of the two dates. I made sure that there were restore points for the dates and it did not restore. I also went to the blind programming site and downloaded the scripts for go back but could not find the link to download go back. Do you know where I can get it? Also, would go back help me retrieve files that were lost prior to installing the program? Another program, Go Back with the scripts at www.accessibleprograms.com, has file restoration and a system reversion. I don't know from where I got Go Back, Roxio or Symantec. ----- Original Message ----- From: John Ramsey <mailto:stephnjohnny211@xxxxxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 10, 2006 11:29 AM Subject: RE: System Restore Thank you for this document. Do you know if system restore will take me back to a point when my files were not deleted? My question is does anyone know how to use system restore and can you walk me through it? If this is better handled off list, please feel free to email me. Take care, John
