Or deactivate Virtual mode Insert+z, route Jaws to PC and go down the page some and reactivate Virtual mode with Insert+z; sometimes in google I find the problem that Jaws says zero links and when doing the steps above I get things working again. Happens on both my laptop and desktop. IE7. When this happens I route JAWS to the cursor and move until I hear something on the web page and then left click. That seems to "wake up" JAWS so that the page is again readable. Have no idea what triggers this, and it also happened in JAWS 10. I suspect it's JAWS and not IE7. I decided to finally install JAWS11 this morning and the problem is still there. The problem is that JAWS will not read certain web pages when using internet explorer. This seems to be especially true if the page contains any frames. If a page starts with a frame, then the page would appear to be blank. If I then bring up the links list with JAWS key f7, it will tell me that there are 0 links even if there are links. If the page has a frame at a later point of a page, then I can access the content prior to the frame but nothing after the start of the first frame. I went to the same pages with firefox and no problem. I even went to the same pages with my wife's desktop running xp using internet explorer and both our laptops running windows 7 and no problem either. I'm not really sure if this is a problem with JAWS or perhaps a problem with internet explorer on my desktop. I'm now thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling internet explorer. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you for any help anyone can offer.
