Clark,

Assuming that Eloquence is the synth you defined in Synth1 then be sure that
Eloquence is set to be your default speech. You need to use the synthesizer
and Braille manager to do this.

Subject: Sound card

Folks,

I have a second sound card; a Sound Blaster PCI. I reference it in the
JFW.INI file in the line; Synth1Port=Sound Blaster PCI.
As most of you know, this will permit all system sounds to be heard over the
system speakers, while JAWS will be heard over the Sound Blaster system.
My problem is: When my wife uses my system, she exits from JAWS with the
insert+F4, and then when I come back to use the system and execute
Cntrl+Alt+J to run JAWS, JAWS is heard over the system speakers not the
Sound Blaster.
How can I resolve this, so when restarting JAWS it again goes to the Sound
Blaster?

Thank you.
