Yes. Vista installs and configures any pending updates during shut-down
time, which can add to the delay.

Chris, if you're seeing this happen consistently, it may be related to
the problem Peter is reporting. If you see it occasionally, it's more
likely just Vista trying to finish doing something before logging off.
