It gave no indication of anywhere to do a save. I selected the Daisy player. I will try to research it more tomorrow. Also after opening the .exe file you would had to select location to install this training program or select the default location. Perhaps it can be found under JAWS help (Training), destop or in the all programs list. Before you downloaded the applicationyou should have selected from two( 2)two types of downloads, either MP3 or Daisy players. ----- Original Message ----- From: Lafond, Eileen<mailto:Eileen.Lafond@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2011 3:36 PM Subject: RE: Setting up jaws options for excel spreadsheet Thanks. I found the excel column and row headers link and hit the save button. It then brought up an .exe file which I went ahead and opened since It did not say save again. I don't know where to find it now though. Can you tell me where I go to read it? It is not part of the JAWS basic training. http://www.freedomscientific.com/downloads/Training/training-downloads.asp ----- Original Message ----- From: Lafond, Eileen<mailto:Eileen.Lafond@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2011 1:57 PM Subject: RE: Setting up jaws options for excel spreadsheet I checked and it appears that I did not install the training when I did the upgrade. I looked at the list of training sessions and they do not specify what they are to download. Would it be possible for you to just email me the list of steps or would that be too difficult? Or is there an easier way to look at that one training session without downloading all the training sessions? It is done within excel rather than with jaws. It works really well. you can find it on the FS training site and is called "excel column and row headers". I just set up my time sheet with it. The advantage is that it is in the spreadsheet so if you upgrade jaws or need to use a different machine jaws will still read the headers. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I can try and help. I want JAWS to read the column name as I go across the row and the row name as I go up the columns. In the past I had changed the JFW option window (insert plus v) with the following changes and with my cursor being in the A6 cell: Title reading on Column titles to row 6 Row titles to columns A However, this is not working. Is there something else that I need to change? Eileen La Fond Work phone: (206) 386-0011 email: eileen.lafond@xxxxxxxxxxx
