Selecting files has gone nutso

Hi. I've begun to have a problem while trying to move multiple files in
Windows Explorer. Using Control + space bar to select multiple items has
suddenly stopped working. In fact, it won't select anything at all that way
anymore. Does this sound like it could be a JAWS problem or perhaps
something else? I'm really not sure. I'm not even sure if Control + Space
bar is a JAWS command or a Windows command. Either way, how to isolate the
problem would be appreciated. Thanks.
