Hi,
You can of course define a script to any key you like. Using a script
you can also make any key do nothing.

Can the keyboard also be remapped to disable punctuation marks, such as
commas? That would be helpful to know.

This is true this is why I told you to add this key not remove it. If
you remove it you will find that control a still does the same thing but

assigned to select all, control+a will continue to select all even if
you've done
this.
