Hi James!

It make no sense!
I am part of the danish jaws beta tester team and because of this I am using
norton ghost to reestablish my system, sometime this is made severel times a
week.
I have not seen this problem since the introduction of jaws 7.0 so this
installation must do something to the system tray.
if i install jaws 7.0 my system tray is empty. If I unload jaws 7.0 and
start jaws 6.2 or for that matter all previous jaws versions running on
windows xp, my system tray shows all items as normal.
If I then switch back to jaws 7 my system tray is empty!

Best regards
Henning

It's not a JAWS thing, it's a windows thing. Windows automatically hides
inactive icons, or rather, icons that you do not use much. It hides these
after a certain amount of time as determined by your system. Unfortunately,
I don't know if there is any way to change this setting or turn it
completely off.

HTH

James
