Hi,

could someone explain why the word "spam" is in the subject line of this
thread? Thanks. Just wondering.

An Ipod is just the name of one brand of MP3 player. Like many, it plays
other formats as well. It happens to be made by Apple, the same folk who
make the Mac.

My son just got one and he had to read CDEs to his computer then shift them
to the Ipod. I haven't made the software work yet directly but there are
other ways around it.

Hope this helps.
