Well, what's that they say about old dogs and tricks?
Anyway, Kimsan, you are so right. I think I like the control+shift+q
keystroke better as it tells you which tab group you are in with each entry.

in order to bring up a list of your tabs in IE isn't it CTRL shift Q? and
when the list comes up you can up or down arrow and enter on the tab of your
choice?
I tried CTRL Q which everyone was suggesting and nothing worked.

You want control+q to bring up a list of your tabs in internet explorer.
Note that you have to use the left and right arrows to navigate this list
not the up and down arrows we are used to.
