Route JAWS to PC

Hi,
My friend installed JAWS version 7.0 on his machine. Almost everything works
fine except one problem we have discovered. When I asked him to route JAWS
to PC, JAWS didn't announce any. Actually, it didn't work at all! And my
questions are, is there any settings that can fix this problem? One thing,
is this the default you get when you install this version? I remember I
encountered something settings for this a long time ago but, I'm not so sure
if this still exists or that settings is really existing. Hope my questions
are clear.
