This is why I like CDex. During the ripping process, JAWS announces how far
along it's going, in percentages, per file. This also applies to CDex's
conversion processes. Hope that helps.

Cool. I went in to take a look, and configured my options on the Rip tab.
How do I know that it's actually ripping something, though? I don't seem to be
getting any feedback.

  Thanks.

  Hi,

Windows Media Player will rip CDs to Mp3.

  Subject: Ripping a CD

  Hi,

I have some CDs I'd like to rip so that I can have the music on my computer.
At the moment, I have Winamp and Windows Media Player. Can either of these
accomplish this? Will Windows Media Player only rip to WMA? How about if I
want MP3 files?

Does JAWS work with these tools well to accomplish this? It seems to me I've
used other tools in the past, and found it difficult to do.

  Thanks.

  Lora
