after pressing ctrl m,
if you want to know,
wait a couple of seconds
then press
insert b,
to read the dialog box
and it will tell you how many of how many are downloaded
unless you are on dsl or cable then it will happen in seconds,
not like me on a slow mo motion modem

Subject: Request for New Messages

I'm using outlook with XP home SP1. When I press the control+m key to call
for new messages I'm hearing Progress bar before anything is said. I
haven't changed any settings and never heard this before. Any help would be
apprecated.
