George,

I think the question should be why does his work and ours don't. (LOL)

James I am using the same programs as you and I just tried "insert+shift+R"
and the "To:" came up jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxx don't know why my computer is acting
different, some machines seem to work while others don't. I have tried
recompiling the script and it didn't help.

Thanks,

I just tried it twice consecutively, and it went through no problem. I'm
also using XP home, JAWS 10, and Outlook 2003.

Cy, I am using exactly the same configuration as you and most of the times
it doesn't reply directly to sender but to the list. I find if I try the
command two or three times it will reply directly to sender, I think this
just started in the last version of 10.

Okay, I used the insert+shift+r in this message.

Yes, when I invoke the command JAWS does say "reply directly to sender" -
but - when I look at the "to" line it still says JFW.

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003, XP Home and JAWS 10.

i tried it and it worked using jaws key plus shift plus r however if i just
use control shift plus r different results, it goes just to the list. i
vrified this by shift tabbing to the from box and it doesn't say the person
who sent it but if i use said jaws plus shift plus r it works and jaws even
says reply to sender when i invoke that command.

Well in the first place after rereading the email I should have said the I
use the jaws key plus shift plus r to reply to sender. Now I have all ways
heard the insert key on the unm pad called the jaws key. That is the lower
left key on the number pad.

I am running O.E. with XP pro and I use the jaws key plus r and it will work
every time. Maybe the nix up is the term insert. It is the jaws key.

Matt,

Insert+R? Check again. That doesn't work in OE.

I believe we are referring to the keystroke insert shift R which will reply
directly to the sender. So in this case instead of pressing control R which
would reply to the entire jaws group, Ins Shift R would reply to dave
instead.

Rick,

Alt+R? Node. in Outlook Express Ctrl+R reply only to sender, or Shift+Ctrl+R
reply to all.

That's not the keystroke I have used to reply to someone. Try using Alt+R.

Hi Marc,

The advantage with this way is to generate only a reply to the sender and
not to the entire list.

Hey there,

I am using jfw 10 with Outlook Express and XP. I always just highlight the
message I want to reply to in the message list or tab into the message body
window. From there, I just hit control + r and it opens the reply window,
I've never used the shortcut you're referring to.

Not sure if this works in jfw 11 but it's worked in every version I've used,
unless I am misunderstanding what you want to do.

Hope this helps.

-Marc

using OE and XP Pro. Version 10 appeared to be alright. I would be curious
if anyone else is also having this problem.
