But the sender said that this particular combination wasn't working. It makes sense that the other combination might work better. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Verity" <rtverity@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Incorrect statement, JB, I am also using control shift A in JFW 7.0 for
reply directly to sender and I am part of "the rest of us" and there may be
others who are using hot keys other than A and R with various combinations
of state keys.

No offence intended just me being totally accurate, it is my programmer
background.
I just can't help myself.

Allan,
I went through the response you told me to go through. I assigned the
keystroke, Control, shift, A. then I un checked the box that asked about
the
desktop. Then tabbed to ok, and entered. Then entered again to confirm.

hi Roger,

in OE or MSO, both are same in jaws 7.0.

open your OE or MSO, press JawsKey+8 (on the number row), you will now at
keyboard manager. press tab once to get the list of
script, now press letter "r" to look for "reply directly to sender", now,
press ctrl+a to add your prefered keystroke, the common
one is KawsKey+shift+r, you can create your own preferable keystroke.

Hello Shannon,

I'm looking for the same information. Except I'm looking for outlook.
Hopefully someone will be able to get back to us.
I can't imagine O E and Outlook setting would be much different.
Take care,

Roger Bachelder

Hi, if anyone can assist me on creating a reply to sender key stroke would
sure appreciate it. Am using JFW 6.20 with windows XP home. Am using
outlook express and under that in jaws keyboard there says none for reply
to

sender.

Hello Steve,

You certainly pointed me in the right direction. On the reply to sender,
it
says none.
Just want to note, I'm using Outlook. In case it matters for a key
setting.
Does anyone know how to create this key combination?

Thanks for the help Steve.
Roger Bachelder

Hey Roger lets give this a try. Hit insert f2 and down arrow to key board
manager. You will hear it say outlook express 1 of 92 or something like
that. tab once and you will be in a list of the keys and what they do.
hit
the letter r and you will hear some read commands. then down arrow and
see
if you find reply directly to sender. It should say what key combination
makes it work. If it says "none" then we have to create one and I am not
sure how to do it. I just did it once and was able to do it by tabbing
around. But someone else can tell us how to do it. Lets just see if you
have

A key stroke listed there.

Hello everyone,

First of all, Thanks Judith, Adrian and Yardbird for getting back to me.
I'm going to write below what is happening with all of the suggestions.
Hopefully I'm missing something simple.
When I replied to Judith, I used the Control Shift, R keystroke.
Unfortunately, the message was sent to the list.
When I do the Insert, shift, R keystroke. I get a ding. I'm guessing
this
is
because, I'm using Jaws 7.0.
When I have a message open, and I do a Control R, and start tabbing down
to
see the original senders address, the size of the message starts to
change.
Either way I try, I can't get jaws to say, replying directly to Sender.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks again for all of the help.
It's much appreciated.

Roger Bachelder
