George,

Wait a minute. Do you mean the problem is something as simple as that FS 
accidentally left the script that runs this function out of subsequent 
releases and updates, and that's why it doesn't work as it is supposed to? 
And you can fix it by doing this? If it's so simple, and so many people have 
reported it, why doesn't FS just fix it?

This is a little confusing to hear.

Hi All:
On this list and other lists instructions were posted several months ago:
that you could copy the "replyToSender" from your JAWS 8 and post it to your
JAWS 9. The script and instructions are on the "Jaws users" home page under
scripts.
