Really? I need to disconnect from the Internet? I've never done that
before. Hmmm. I use DSL and although I can probably figure it out, I'm
actually not sure how I would do that.

You must completely remove, through normal procedures, you're current
anti-virus program before installing another. If you don't like the new
one, you can always remove it and put another or your original anti-virus
back. You should Dissconnect your computer from the internet then
deactivate your current anti-virus program and finally install and activate
the new anti-virus program.

My edition of Norton is about to expire. I'm considering AVG or maybe
another anti-virus program. Is there anything special I need to do
before installing and/or trying out a different anti-virus program.
Do I need a special tool to remove all traces of Norton? Actually,
can I install the new program before uninstalling Norton? I would
deactivate Norton, but I'm wondering if it would be easier to keep
Norton on my system in the event that I don't like the new program and
choose to return to Norton.
