Reading hyphenated numbers smoothly

Hi!  When JAWS reads a hyphenated number, say in a basketball score or a range 
of numbers, like 102-85 or 25-30, it's being read out as single digits, yet 
when I remove the hyphen it reads out as a complete number.  How can I set JAWS 
so that it reads a hyphenated number smoothly?  I'm using V11.  Thank you.
